DOWDALL, Gerald

The family announces the death of Gerry Dowdall at the age of 91 years. Gerry passed at Temiskaming Lodge - Haileybury, Friday, July 7, 2006.

Born at Haileybury on December 12, 1914, Gerry spent most of his life in Temagami and had worked for Ontario Northland Telecommunications in the New Liskeard office. He was very community oriented and had driven ambulance for many years in the Town of Temagami. He enjoyed spending time at the Fish Hatchery and at Branch 408 The Royal Canadian Legion in Temagami. He touched the hearts of many and will not be forgotten.

Gerry was predeceased by his wife Betty on July 15, 2003. He will be missed by his daughter Muffy Dowdall and granddaughter Amanda Goudreau both of Wahnapitae.In keeping with Gerry's wishes cremation has taken place.
