Passed away peacefully on Monday July 11, 2011 in North Bay. The daughter of the late Herbert & Lillian Allen, Doreen was the loving wife of Kenneth Haddow , who predeceased her October 27, 2010. The dear mother of Bruce, Dan (Louise) and Cindy, she will also be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer, Katelyn and Lisa Haddow. Also survived by her brother Herb (Freda) of Merrit, British Columbia. In keeping with Doreen’s wishes cremation has taken place. Her and her husband’s ashes will be interred together at a family service to be held in Kirkland Lake. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Empire Living Center and the North Bay Regional Health Center for the special care they provided for Mom. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to Martyn Funeral Home.
