DOKIS, Nellie Delma

Passed away at Cassellholme, Monday, September 10, 2007. Nellie (née Stevens) was the beloved wife of the late Walter Dokis in her 88th year. Loved mother of Donald and Mervin both of Dokis and Betty-Ann (Jim) of Corbeil. She will be lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren - Carol-Ann, Charlene, Cameron, Julaine, Gilles, Gerald, Terrance and seven great- grandchildren, Eric, Benjamin, Ava, Brandyn, Shane, Jessica and Darian. Nellie was the dear sister of Madeline Dokis, Kay McLeod and Annie Stevens. Pedeceased by her parents, Hugh and Nancy Stevens, two brothers Hubert and Laurent Stevens, and three sisters, Irene Stevens, Agnes McLeod and Mercy Genise. Nellie was a member of Ladies Auxilary Branch 23.



Family and friends may pay their respects at McGuinty Funeral Home, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Ladies Auxiliary Legion Branch 23, service will be conducted Thursday at 3 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption, Friday at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Francis Cemetery, Dokis. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Association or charity of choice would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
