Passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Leisureworld, North Bay. Predeceased by her husband Frederick Charles Dobbs (Mar. 11, 1904 - Dec. 23, 1991), her parents Ellen (Patterson) and Edgar Walton, her sisters Ethel Demaine-Skuce (1987) and Marjory Metcalfe (1992). Also predeceased by her son-in-law Bob Watson (1988) and daughter-in-law Mary Dobbs (1994). She will be greatly missed by her children Joyce Watson of Buford, Georgia, Gerald Dobbs (Betty) of North Bay and Carol Nicholls (Nick) of Cambridge. Beloved grandmother of 11 grandchildren and many great, and great-great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by her sister Enna Martin of Powassan and many nieces and nephews. Bertha was a member of Lakeshore Missionary Church and was faithfully visited by Carol Shantz. The family wishes to thank the staff of Leisureworld for their caring help of their mother. The family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. After the service a reception will follow in the funeral home. Interment St. Paul's Cemetery, Golden Valley. If desired, In Memoriam donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
