It is with profound sadness that the family announces that Jeannine passed away peacefully at home on February 27, 2017, in her 80th year. Jeannine was predeceased by her husband and the love of her life, Clare, her brother Fernand and his wife Shirley, her brother Omer, her sister Denise, her sister Yvette and her husband Maurice, and Clare’s two sisters. She is survived by her sisters Diane Demers (Louis) of North Bay, Monique Lebel (Robert) of Corbeil and her brother Michel (Pauline) Lavigne of Corbeil. Jeannine will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. In recent years, she was happy to return to North Bay to be closer to family. It was her great joy to spend time with everyone making many beautiful memories. She also loved all the staff and friends at Marina Point who became like family to her. A special thank you to her cousin Carole Beaulieu and her nieces Suzanne Turcotte and Amanda Demers who lovingly took care of her during her finals weeks. The family will receive visitors on Friday March 3, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at McGuinty Funeral Home, 591 Cassells Street, North Bay. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday March 4, 2017 at 11 am in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel. Spring interment at the Corbeil Cemetery.
