DILLABOUGH, William Malcolm

William Malcolm Dillabough passed away peacefully at home on Sunday July 29, 2007. Born August 2, 1932 in Douglas Ontario, he is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Joan. He is remembered always as a devoted father of his three daughters, Patricia (Dan), Betty (Paul) and Ruth (Dan) and will be missed by his grandchildren Andrew, Robin, Brian and Jenna. Bill is survived by his siblings Russell, Jacob, Johnny, Marion, Margaret, Doris and many loving nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by four siblings.



Bill was employed by the MTO for 36 years, retiring as Regional Maintenance Supervisor. He was always very active in sports. He played hockey until he was in his sixties. He enjoyed skiing and curling and refereed ringette for many years. For many years Bill spent his summers at the cottage in White River. During his retirement years he worked tirelessly as a volunteer for the North Bay Hospital, Meals on Wheels, and the St. John's Anglican Church Men's group.



Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from city hall) on Wednesday afternoon and evening from 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 2nd at 11:00 am at St. John's Anglican Church, 301 Main Street E. Reception to follow in the parish hall. If desired as expressions of sympathy donations to St. John's Anglican Church operating fund, or the North Bay General Hospital Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
