Devost, Lionel

After a short illness, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2015 at Cassellholme Home for the Aged at the age of 90 years. Dearly loved husband of Margery (nee Laroche) of 65 years. Beloved father of Ron (Bibianne), Reg (Carol), and Claude (Sandra). Cherished pepere of Crystal (Mike), Julie (Adrian), Ryan (Adrienne), Adam (Amelie), Katherine (Shaun), Kristine (Reese), Jamie (Karen), Shane (Kristen), Camille (Eric), Mireille and 11 great-grandchildren. Lionel will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents; Emile and Rosanna (nee Brassard) and his son; Gerald (Jo-Anne-surviving). Lionel was a Habs Fan, loved the North Bay Battalions and the Toronto Blue Jays. He loved spending time with his sons hunting and playing a good hand of euchre. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday November 18th 2015 from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 9 am to 10:30 am. Funeral Service will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday at 10:30 am. Cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home Crematorium. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
