It is with great sadness that our family announces the death of Huguette Desrosiers of North Bay(February 20, 1927 - December 3, 2003). She leaves to grieve her six children, Lianne (Peter) Vande Ven of London, Nicole (Laurence) Hudson of Ottawa. Suzanne (Marcel) Nicholas, also of Ottawa, Raymond (Gisele) of North Bay, Denis (Susan) of Oakville and France Lynne Summers of North Bay. She was also the widow of Roger Desrosiers who died on May 26, 1995. Also left without this kind, loving women are her 19 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a brother Gerry (Jeannine) of Sault Ste. Marie and Jacqueline (Rheal) Gosselin of Timmins, as well as many friends. Dear companion of Fred Martin. Dear grandmother of Robert, Nathalie and Francois as well as Nita and Valerie Summers of North Bay. Daughter of Oscar and Anita Gauvin, she worked in Smooth Rock Falls for Abitibi as an office manager. Later she took on the job at Charlebois Hardware and the Pro-Hardware in Iroquois Falls. Inspired by Ste. Therese, her faith in God and her family was unsinkable. She was an unequalled women who inspired her family to face many challenges, to face obstacles without backing down and most importantly to never forget their unbreakable invincible and incomparable bonds that tie us all together as a family. Nothing could equal or replace the members of a family. She is and will be greatly missed. We love you Mom. Donations to the Regional Cancer Centre of Ottawa-Carleton or Cancer Society would be appreciated. Family will be receiving friends at McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME this evening from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse des Saints-Anges Friday at 10:30 am. Cremation will follow at Forest Lawn Crematorium.
