Lorina passed away peacefully at the Nipissing Manor in Corbeil after a lengthy illness with Alzheimer’s on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the age of 87.
She is survived by children, Diane (Joe) of Callander, Ontario, Evelyn (Rene) of North Bay, Ontario, and Donald (Edna) of Sudbury, Ontario; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren ; sister, Marceline Roy of North Bay, Ontario. Predeceased by her husband, Rosaire; parents Philias and Virginia Vachon (nee Doyle); children, Stella Hart (nee Roy) in 2000 and Suzanne Simmons (nee Roy) in 2020; brother Adelard , sisters Grace, Regina, Bertha and Muriel.
