Passed away at North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, Thursday, December 28, 2006 at the age of 78. Leo Desjardins was the beloved husband of Therese (née Ranger) and loved father of Dr. Michel Desjardins (Dr. Dee Marvin) of North Bay, Pauline Gemmell (Graydon Peavoy) of Amhurstburg and Rosemarie Keen (Stephen) of Val Caron. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Sherrie, John, Andrew, Michael, Marc and two great- grandchildren, Dawson and Paige. Predeceased by one son, Dr. Pierre Desjardins (Michelle Desjardins- surviving) and his parents, Ida (née Paquette) and Maxime Desjardins.
Leo was a retired driver examiner employed by the Ministry of Transportation.
Private family service will be held at MCGUINTY FUNERAL HOME at a later date.
