(1923-2007) - The family announces with sorrow her death in North Bay, Thursday January 18, 2007 at the age of 83 years. Daughter of the late Joseph and of the late Alda (née Lalonde) Desjardins. Dear sister of Françoise Gervais (Jean-Claude, predeceased) of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Julien, François (Blanche nee Vezina, predeceased), Georges (Marie- Jeanne nee Poirier), Hélène (Oswald Lapointe, predeceased), Jean-Paul, Armand, Jeannette, Juliette, Leonidas, Lucie, Pierre (Leonie nee Major), Gabrielle (Aldege Leduc, predeceased) and Augustin. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and by her extended family at the hospital in North Bay who provided tender and compassionate care to her for many years.
The family received friends at the THÉORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, Sunday from 1-3 p.m. Funeral service was held Sunday January 21, 2007 at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
