DESJARDINS, Henry

Peacefully at North Bay General Hospital-Scollard Site on Friday March 9, 2007 at the age of 78 years. Predeceased by his wife Pauline Morel, parents Ovila and Delia Desjardins and a brother Art. Dear father of Andy (Gisele) and Priscilla Desjardins both of North Bay. He will be sadly missed by his two grandchildren Evan (Melissa), Eric, and great grandchild Owen, as well as many nieces and nephews. Also survived by a sister Gertrude Thibeault of Boucherville, Quebec and a brother Alphege of Temiscaming, Quebec and sisters-in-law Rita and Tony. Henry will be fondly remembered by his two best friends Ken and Gaetan.

Henry worked for the Department of National Denfence for many years. He was also an avid fisherman and spent many hours tending his vegetable garden. Henry will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., on Tuesday March 13th from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 pm. Funeral mass at Peace Chapel, C.F.B. North Bay on Wednesday March 14th at 11 am. Donations to the North Bay General Hospital Foundation in memory of Henry and Pauline will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
