May 9th., 2008, with her loving husband and best friend of 39 yrs. at her side Rick Deschene, Louise Deschene (nee Frotten), passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at Civic Hospital in North Bay. Louise was in her 58th year. Born in Quinan, Nova Scotia and loving daughter to John B. Frotten (predeceased) and Laura Catherine Frotten (Toronto). Dear sister of John, wife Kathleen (Markham), George, wife Dragica (Bradford), Gerald, wife Mae (Toronto), Gary (Toronto), Michael, wife Mareena (Bowmanville), and cherished sister of Linda (North Bay). Lovingly remembered also by her many nieces, nephews and godchildren. Louise was always ready to lend an ear of support or give a hug to those who needed a little strength. Her caring ways and warm nature will be remembered by many who had their lives touched by her. Louise served with the Royal Canadian Legion for over 10 yrs. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Faith Chapel 367 Delaware Ave., North Bay, ON. on Tues. May 13th, 2008 at 10 a.m. In memory of Louise, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated. A special thank you to the caring nurses of the 3rd.
