(1927-2018) - Ron passed away peacefully at Nipissing Manor in Corbeil on Sunday January 28, 2018 at the age of 90 years. He was the dear friend and companion to Joyce Scobie, dear father of Tony Demeis (Jacquie), Roldanne Cutts (Chris), John Demeis (Lea-Anne), and David Demeis (Sarah). He will be remembered by his 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Antonio and Teresa Demeis (nee Tervisi) and remembered by his siblings Edith, Delia, Rene, James, and Robert. Ron was an avid pilot and enjoyed building and flying custom-built aircraft and was very passionate about fishing. Family are receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., on Tuesday February 6th from 7pm to 9pm with short prayer service at 8:30 pm. The family would like to extend thanks to all the wonderful people who took care of Ron at Nipissing Manor. Donations to a charity of your choice in memory of Ron would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
