DEMAINE, Stanley Ernest

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Thursday, October 9th, 2014 at the age of 96 years.  Stan was the beloved husband of the late Shirley Edith (nee South).  Proud and loving father of Elizabeth Henderson (John) of Corbeil and Sheila Crawford (Eric predeceased) of Callander.  He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Ian and Bradley Crawford. Predeceased by his parents William Henry and Miriam Elizabeth Demaine, and by his 9 siblings. Stan was a craftsmen, working as a Cabinet Maker lastly for Al Picard Custom Cabinets for many years. His family will receive friends at the Martyn Funeral Home on Monday from 2 - 4:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th from 10:00 am until the time for the Funeral Service , in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am.  Interment to follow at the Callander Union Cemetery.  If desired, donations to the Callander Food Bank would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
