Therese passed away surrounded by the love of her family and her grandchildren at her side at Au Chateau on Thursday October 27, 2022 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Paul Delorme and loving mother to the late Raymond Delorme (Lise-deceased). Cherished grandmother to Nathalie Delorme (Rob), Natacha Delorme (Mathieu) and Eric Delorme (Tanya), and great-grandmother to Hunter and Jemma. Predeceased by her parents Isaïe and Frédeline (nee Ethier) Brabant. Sister to Yvonne, Ernest, Rosa, Antoinette, Jules, Florida, Paul, Laurette, Jean, and Delphis.
Therese will always be fondly remembered as being a devote Catholic Lady with an absolute faith, and her mastery in the kitchen, where everyone was always welcome at her table.
The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home in Sturgeon Falls (123 Railway Street) on Wednesday November 2, 2022, between the hours of 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Paroisse Sacré -Coeur (144 Main Street Sturgeon Falls) on Thursday November 3, 2022, at 11am. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Sturgeon Falls.
