The Quirt family sadly announces Delia’s death at Cassellholme, North Bay on Wednesday July 13, 2011, two days before her 81st birthday. Delia was the beloved wife of the late Mervin Quirt who predeceased her in 1999. The proud and loving mother of Glen and his wife Kim, and Gale both of North Bay and Laura and her husband Dan Turgeon of Restoule, she will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Dana Boulanger (Denis), and Derek and Steve Turgeon, and her four great grandchildren Matthew, Brittney, Courttney and Lena Mae. The daughter of the late Louis and Marie Anne Myre, Delia is also survived by her brother Donald (Rita) of Sudbury and her sisters Yvette and Diane, and her sister in law Betty Myre, as well as many nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. A grave side committal service will be held in the North Bay Union Cemetery at 11:00 am on Saturday July 23, 2011.
