Delaquis, Jean-Michel

(1981-2016) - It is with great sorrow that Mike’s family announces his passing on January 19th 2016.  He leaves behind his best friend and loving partner Karen along with their son Benjamin and his step-son Seth.  He will be sadly missed by his loving mother Suzan, his siblings Kristin (David), Daniel (Ross) and Marc Jr. as well as his nephew Lincan & grand-father Fern Delaquis.  He will be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his mother-in-law Linda.  Predeceased by his dad Jean-Marc Delaquis, grand-mother Lorna Delaquis, grand-parents Jan and Bevan Barkel.  As a proud business owner Mike was an accomplished ceramic tile and flooring installer.  He was a music enthusiast, amazing photographer and an avid fisherman but the light of his life was always his son Benjamin.  Visitation will be held at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES on Tuesday January 26th from 1 until 3pm.  A celebration of his life will follow at 3pm.
