(1927-2008)- Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the North Bay General Hospital Scollard Site, on Thursday March 6th 2008. Jérome Degagne in his 81st year, was the dearly loved husband, partner and best friend of Irene Guillemette for 57 years. Proud and loving father of Gilbert (Gail), Denis, Marc (Claire), Diane, Luc, Claire (Pierre) and Marcel (Raymonde). Jerome will be lovingly remembered by his fourteen grandchildren and his two great grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Cléophase (Mignone), sister Genevieve (Maurice predeceased) and Caroline (Raymond). Predeceased by his sister Lucienne (Aurel), Moise (Vivianne survived), Rev. Degagne and his parents Elas and Febrinie Degagne. He will be remembered for his great sense of humour, wonderful family man and his love and passion for music. At Jerome's request, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Finnis and all the nurses on the CCU floor at the North Bay General Hospital Scollard Site, especially nurses Monica, Paula, Jane and Tanya.
