DANIS, Roméo (1916-2005)

It is with great sadness that the family announces the loss of Roméo Danis on Tuesday, September 6, 2005, at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Thérèse Danis (2003). He will be sadly missed by his children; Donald (Lorraine), Suzanne (late Armand Audet), Fernand (Denise), Robert (Carmen), Marcel (Pauline), Lise (Ron Morrison), Normand (Andrée), Pierrette (Robert Blais), Carole (Charles Beauparlant), all of Sturgeon Falls, and Florian (Diane) of Field. Dear brother of Solange Shank. Predeceased by his daughter Gisèle in 1993, his parents, Joseph and Aurore Danis, and by many brothers and sisters. Fondly remembered by 31 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Family receiving friends and relatives at the THEORET FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, September 8 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Reverend Gérald Lajeunesse will celebrate the Funeral Mass at the Sacré Coeur Church, on Friday, September 9, 2005 at 11 a.m. In Roméo's memory, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
