CUSHING, Wayne Maurice

Peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus to be with his dearly departed wife Claire (Aubin) and his son Michael (Robin) at the Nipissing Serenity House Hospice, Friday, February 21, 2020 at the age of 78 yrs. Loving father of Susan Jodouin (Dean). Cherished Grandpa to Farah Grandlouis (George), Jennifer and Dianne and precious great grandpa to Victoria, Candice, Jacob and Jessica. Survived by his sister Theresa Kossatz, 2 brothers, Dave (Fran) and Bill (Dorothy). He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends and dearly remembered by his in-laws Fleurette Huard (late Robert), Marcel Aubin (June), Gilles Aubin (Ruth), Fernand Aubin. He was predeceased by his parents David Cushing and Edith (Winters) and his sisters Patricia McDonald (Gerald), Janet Bellaire (late Hector), and brother Douglas (Rose). Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Monday, February 24, 2020 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Memorial Service will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 11 am. Donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
