Peacefully at Au Château in Sturgeon Falls on Sunday March 25, 2007 at the age of 89 yrs. Predeceased by her husband André and son Gaston. Dear mother of Marcel (Jeanine) of Sturgeon Falls, Claire Stevens of New Jersey, USA and Jacques (Deborah) of North Bay. She will be fondly remembered by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Also predeceased by her sister Laurette Lafleur. A Mass celebrating the life of Fortunée will be held at a later date at Au Château in Sturgeon Falls. Donations in memory of Fortunée to the Au Château will be gratefully acknowledged by her family. Fotunée will always be remembered as a loving mother and a very special friend to all who knew her. She will be sorely missed.
