Costante, Mary Ann (nee Veltri)

March 10, 1925-April 6, 2014 – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mary Costante (Veltri) announce her passing on Sunday April 6, 2014 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, in her 90th year..  Beloved wife to Albert Costante of 69 years, she was the cherished mother of Barbara Hoffmann (Dieter), Louis (deceased), Gerald (Jann), Christine Craig (Dale), Edward (Pauline) and Mary Lou. Devoted grandmother to Deborah, Adriana, Luciano, Dana, Santina, Brooke, Evan, Ryan, Dustin, Jennifer, Carly and Andrew. Great grandmother to Mary Kate, Mya, Tyson, Ellanor, Maya, Ella & Ethan. Loving sister to Fanny Schiavo (Albert deceased), Jack Veltri, Rudy Veltri (Evelyn) and Josie Troy (Bill – deceased). Predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Concetta Veltri and by her brothers Ernest (Louise – deceased), Tony (Alice – deceased), Gerald (Marjorie – deceased) and by sisters Rita Anello (Angelo – deceased), Gloria Souliere (Lawrence – deceased). Lovingly remembered by sisters-in-law Kathryn Costante and Amelia Palombi.  Also predeceased by brothers-in-law Sam, Geno, Louis, Mike & Rudy  and by sisters-in-law Mary, Lundi and Margaret. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Joel Carter and CCU nurses., who cared for her with such compassion. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Friday April 11, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St Peter the Apostle Church, 299 Airport Rd, on Saturday April 12 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
