CORBEIL, Rolande (née Labine)

Passed away peacefully, at Cassellholme, Friday, April 7, 2006, accompanied by her immediate family in her 89th year. She is now able to experience a new life of abundance filled with love and health. She leaves her children: Richard (Carole) Corbeil, Andre (Diane) Corbeil, Joanne (Barry deceased) Diemert (Toronto), Jacques (Burlington), Gilles (Christina), Toronto. With the angels, she will watch over her grandchildren: Cristian (Boulder, Colorado) Corbeil, Marc (Ottawa) Corbeil, and Emily, Michael, Hannah ( Toronto) Corbeil. They can be assured of her intercession and faithful love. Rolande leaves Albert Lamoureux, her living guardian angel. She will be fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters: Romain, (Gerry) Labine, Lucille ( late Aurèle) Obonsowin, Rita Labine, Jacqueline Doiron, Réjeane (John) Grosso, et Maurice (Jackie) Labine . Predeceased by Ernest P.Corbeil her husband of 45 years, her father and mother Oscar and Rosa Labine (Sudbury), and father and mother in law, Ferdinand and Isabelle Corbeil.



Rolande was a teacher at heart who devoted herself to her students teaching them to read. After teaching in Garson and Sudbury, she pursued her teaching career in North Bay after founding a private kindergarden. She greatly appreciated friendships within the teaching profession. Family gatherings, water and oil painting, classical music and concerts were among her prefered interests. Her christian and cultural values are part of her testimonial to her family and friends. For the care and dedication to their mother for the past three years, family sincerely thanks the staff at Cassellholme as well as staff at The Barclay House.



Visitation was at McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St-Vincent-de-Paul Monday at 10:30 AM. Expressions of sympathy and donations to the Society of St-Vincent-de-Paul or Mass offerings would be greatly appreciated by the family.
