Passed away peacefully at Nipissing Manor Nursing Home on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, she was in her 78th year. Beloved mother of Rory Claridge and the late Kirk Cooper. Proud grandmother of Amanda Zan and Adam Marceau. Shirley is survived by her siblings Fred (Jean) Claridge, Garnet (Elsie) Claridge, Larry (Moreen) Claridge and Illa (Sam) Hunt. She is predeceased by her siblings Elise Coleman, Ruby Orton, Edna Dool, Wilma Brown, Evelyn Scott and Lloyd Claridge. She will sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Shirley enjoyed riding her bicycle around town. Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday September 26th from 12noon until time for a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM.
