COOK, Marie A. (nee Patry)

1917-2006. The family announces with sorrow her death at Laurentian Hospital, Sudbury, Ontario on Monday, September 4th, 2006. Daughter of the late Felix and Anna Patry (Tessier). Wife of the late Arthur Cook. Loving mother of the late Robert Cook (Sherry). Marie loved life and especially loved spending time with her beloved grandsons, Robert Cook, B.C. and Sean Cook, Vancouver, B.C. She will be missed by her two sisters, Rita Patry, Sudbury, Ontario and Noella Cheaney (Burt), Val Caron, Ontario. Marie was predeceased by one brother Lionel Patry (Pat), three sisters, Cora Pharand (Osias), Bella Bourgeault (Eugene), Simone Turpin (Ron).



Marie was a retired school teacher and she taught at Wembley Public School for 30 years in Sudbury, Ontario.



Memorial Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Saturday, September 16th, 2006 at 2 p.m. Cremation with interment in the family plot. Donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated. Friends may gather in the chapel after 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
