CONTI, Mrs. Maria "Mary"

With sadness the Conti family announce the death of Mrs. Maria Catarina Conti at the age of 96 years. Mrs. Conti passed away after a lengthy illness at Temiskaming Hospital, New Liskeard, Wednesday, September 28, 2005. Born at Creighton Mines, June 29, 1909 to the late Luigi and Angela Zanin, Mrs. Conti had been a Cobalt resident for many years. She was predeceased by her husband Ernie and son John. Mrs. Conti is survived by her loving daughters: Angela (and Don) Krajc of North Bay and Nina (and Dave) McCormack of New Liskeard. Also left to mourn are her grandchildren: John, Peter, Michelle, Paul, Paula and Steven; and great-grandchildren: Sam, Sophia, Nicholas, Alexander, Brynna, Emma, Brett and Abbey. The Conti Famiy will receive friends at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, New Liskeard, Tuesday, October 4, 2005 beginning at 10 a.m. A memorial mass will follow at the church at 11 a.m. Father John Lemire officiating. Memorial contributions to Temiskaming Hospital CAT Scan Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Buffam Léveillé Funeral Home, Haileybury (705-672-3122).
