Connelly, Patrick (Emmett)
Passed away peacefully at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice on Friday March 1, 2024 at the age of 78.
Predeceased by his wife Margaret Grandy who he is finally reunited with. Loving father of Valerie Connelly (David Jobin). He will be sadly missed by his siblings Daniel (Roseane), Patrick (Louise), Maureen Travis (Keith) and Kevin and several nieces and nephews. Emmett is predeceased by his parents Rose and Timothy and his brothers Joe, Brian, James and sister RoseMarie Bertrand.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Chapleau.
A special thanks to the caregivers of Phara, the staff of Cedar Lodge at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, Cassellholme, and the Nipissing Serenity Hospice, Dr. Oyeniran, Dr.Green Ward and Dr. Jinnah for the exceptional care and compassion given to Emmett during the years.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
