CONDIE, Shirley Marie (Chenier)

After a courageous 2 year battle with cancer, she peacefully passed away at age 64 at the Mattawa General Hospital on September 11th, 2006. Born in Mattawa on May 15th, 1942. Predeceased by her parents Viola and Peter, her mother Beatrice, her beloved husband Lloyd and granddaughter Amanda. Dear sister of Florence, Rose Marie, Rita, Bonnie, Fred and Jean Guy. A special mention to Uncle Charles Peter Chenier Jr. and Aunt Nora Doucette who were there throughout her whole life as an older brother and sister. Cherished mother of Susan (Adrien) of Callander, Delmer (Karen) of Ottawa, Sharon (Doug) of North Bay, Danny (Nancy) of Oxford Mills, Denis (Elaine) of Aylmer, Sandy (Rob) of Guelph and Shelly (Mario) of Mattawa. Fondly remembered by 16 grandchildren and a great grandchild. Sadly missed by companion, René Lamarche.



Friends and family may share memories of Shirley at the T. L. Smith Funeral Home in Mattawa on Wednesday, September 13th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral to take place on Thursday, September 14th at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Mattawa. In remembrance, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
