At the North Bay Regional Hospital on May 7, 2011 in her 97th year, mom peacefully passed away. She was born December 2, 1914 in Englehart, Ontario, the oldest of three children. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Margaret Berdux, her sister Ruth Miskimins, her brother Keais Berdux and her husband Cecil Byrnell. Left to remember and miss her, her daughters Marlene White and Cheryl Besley (John). Her grandchildren Dan White (Cher) and Steven White (Grace) will miss their Grannie who was always a very important part of their lives. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. She will also be missed by Breeta Tower, who loved her as a Mother. Mom loved her summers on Four Mile Bay sitting on the dock and watching all the activities happening around her. She was already planning for this summer. The family would like to thank everyone at Barcley House who cared for her over the past 4 years and the staff at the Regional Health Centre. Family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. There will be a private interment at Terrace Lawn Cemetery on Friday, May 13, 2011. If desired, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre or charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
