CLELLAND, Clifford Moses (Cliff)

Peacefully at his home in Loring, on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, in his 84th year. Lovingly remembered by his wife Bernice (Simms). Dear father of Chris (Carol), Scott (Cathy), Ian (Landon) and Eric Clelland. Grampa to Ashley (Dan Lilley), Jamie (Donna), Breanne, Sonya and Travis Clelland. Great-Grampa to Naomi, Isaiah, and Micah. Cliff is survived by his sister Violet Tucker and sisters-in-law Florence Clelland-Blea and Marg Simms and their families. Predeceased by his parents William (Bill) and RoseAnn Clelland and his brother Ernie. At Cliff's request there will be no funeral service. A celebration of life may take place in the spring. Cliff will be remembered for his jovial outlook on life and his commitment to his family and the community in which he lived. He was a former member of the Argyle Lions Club and the Argyle Volunteer Fire Department. Cliff also held a lifetime trustee position at St. Andrew's United Church in Loring. Hundreds of homes and cottages in the Loring area were wired by Cliff and just as many stories were told… In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory made payable to  St. Andrew's United Church, Loring Pastoral Charge, building and maintenance fund would be appreciated.
