CHIOCCHIO,Bruno

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2007, surrounded by his loving family at the North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site at the age of 77. Bruno Chiocchio is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lidia. Loving father of Paolo, Antonietta and Franco. Dear brother of Ivetta Mascioli (Domenico predeceased), brother-in-law of Enzo Chiocchio (Nelia) and Ubaldo Chiocchio (Rosella) . Predeceased by his parents Franco and Domenica Chiocchio. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bruno was born in Cocullo, Italy, March 3, 1929 and came to Canada in 1963, with his new bride and settled in North Bay. He had a rewarding and prosperous career with Trans Canada Pipelines and retired in 1994. Bruno was well known throughout the community and proud of his Italian Heritage. He was a member of the Davedi Club, and had many passions including gardening, his cottage, fixing his fleet of vehicles, especially his Mustang and listening and dancing to his Italian music.



Family receiving friends at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption, Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association or the Diabetes Socitey would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
