After a lengthy illness at the Mattawa General Hospital on Sunday March 23, 2008 in his 88th year. Dear husband of Gertrude Boissonneault. Loving father of Gerald (wife Jeannine Foisy) of Mattawa and Linda Chenier (partner Richard Larocque) also of Mattawa. Predeceased by his son Marcel in 1980. Sadly missed by grandchildren Stephane, Richard, Josée, Tammy and Richard and by great grandchildren Jaret, Dustin, Evan, Trenton and Jersey. Survived by his sister Nora Doucette of Mattawa. A special thank you to Dr. Williams and the nurses who cared for Dad while in hospital. Your care and kindness will not be forgotten. Friends may call at the MARTYN & SLOAN MATTAWA CHAPEL on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Anne's Church on Thursday at 11 am. Cremation at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. A spring interment will take place at St. Anne's Cemetery. If desired donations to the Mattawa General Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated.
