Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Saturday February 17th at the age of 88 years. Joan was a gentle and loving soul, known for her warm smile and kind words to all those who crossed her path. She was the 4th eldest of 6, she was sister to Leona (Emmet) Cunningham, Norma Sullivan, Joe (Patricia) Sullivan, Gary (Kay) Sullivan and Maureen (Bill) Grant. Joan has lived in various communities in Northern Ontario choosing to spend her retirement years in Sunny Callander with her beloved Husband Bob of 65 years. Joan was mother to Rick (Linda) Chase, David Chase (Kathy Karoglan), Liz (Dennis) Murphy and Grandmother to Lindsay, Scott, Matt and Caitlyn. She will be missed deeply by her Family. A funeral service will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Thursday February 22, 2018 at 1 pm.
