CHARTRAND, Blanche Mary

Passed away peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital – McLaren Site, on Thursday, July 22, 2010. Blanche (nee Gauthier) was the beloved wife of the late Hormidas Chartrand, she was 92 years old. Loving mother of Luga (Jack
Villeneuve) of Deep River, Octave Chartrand and Narchieka (Bryan MacRae) both of North Bay and Mark Chartrand of Corbeil. She was predeceased by her children Arlette (Mrs. Bert Hagarty), Zee Chartrand, Mern Chartrand and by an infant child John. She will be lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren and by her one great great grandchild. Dearly loved sister of Alma Purdy of Iroquois Falls. Also predeceased by her parents Eugene and Mary Gauthier and by her siblings Joe, Mary Alice, Rose, Frank, Anna, Mary Anne and Henry. Visitation for Blanche will be held in the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Monday, July 26th, from 1:00 P.M. until time for a Memorial Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 P.M. Cremation will with interment of ashes in the family plot in Timmins at a later date.
