CHARNEY, Velma (nee Desrosiers) 1915-2005

At Cassellholme on Thursday, December 29, 2005 at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by her husband Stanley (1953), an infant granddaughter Wanda (1963) and a son-in-law Bernard LaRue (1979). Dear mother of Albertine LaRue of North Bay and Maureen LaRue (Gilbert) of Kingston. She will be fondly remembered by her seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Adelina Crawford of Sturgeon Falls. A memorial service will be held at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES at a later date. Donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Velma will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
