CHAMPAIGNE, Eileen (1925-2005)

The family announces with great sorrow her death on Tuesday May 24, 2005 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 79 years. Predeceased by her husband James Champaigne in 1978, her son Gerald Champaigne in 1991, her daughter-in-law Joy Champaigne in 1989 and by her granddaughter Marie Fetter. Survived by her daughters Sylvia (Brian) Fetter of Chatham and Glenna (Larry) Brazeau of Timmins, her grandchildren Curtis Champaigne of Victoria, British Columbia, Kelly Champaigne (Norm Bougie) of London, Ontario, Jason (Natalie) Brazeau of Timmins and Cynthia (Steve) Jodouin of Timmins, her great-grandchildren Tyson Brazeau and Talia Jodouin, her sister Lynn Haapala of Sudbury, her sister-in-law Geraldine Craig of Blind River and by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Champaigne was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in North Bay for a number of years. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2005 in the funeral home chapel. Interment of cremated remains will be held later at Elk Lake Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
