Marguerite (nee Giroux) passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Center, March 1st, 2014 at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of Donat Champagne. Dearly loved mother of Michel (Hélène) of Corbeil, Diane Brady (Pat) of Dover, Delaware, Marie-Anne Rochefort (Jean- Marc) of Astorville, Claude (Michelle), Jocelyne Champagne (Norm), all of North Bay. Lovingly remembered by 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Julie (Julien), Flora (George), Bernadette (Vic deceased), David (Claudette), Gérard (Nicole), Louise (Jules deceased), Daniel (Rollande), Raymonde (Conrad), Jeannine (Roger deceased), Gérald (Vivianne) , Gabriel (Rex), Réginald (Donna) and Colette (Raymond) . Predeceased by her parents Régina and John Giroux, brothers Michel Giroux, André Giroux, Rhéal Giroux, and sisters Marie Anne Landry, Rhéa Giroux and Rose Anna Bilodeau. Family will receive friends at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Thursday March 6 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Paroisse Sacre Coeur , Friday March 7 at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Heart & Stroke, C.W.L or Église Sacré Coeur Memorial Fund would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
