Peacefully at the Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa on Saturday, June 7th, 2008. Laurette was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Champagne, in her 87th year. Loving mother of Gaston (Precille) of Mattawa, Claude (Sheila) of North Bay, Michel (Ginette) of Mattawa, and Carole Jodouin (Barry) of Mattawa. Dear Mémère of Norm, Stephane, Renee, Alain, Josee, and Anick; great-mémère of Destiny and Evan. Survived by her brothers Alzire Gagnon, Louisda Gagnon, and sister Micheline Gagnon. Friends may call at the MARTYN & SLOAN “Mattawa Chapel“ on Tuesday June 10th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Anne's Parish on Wednesday June 11th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Parish Cemetery.
