CHAMPAGNE, Donat

Donat Champagne passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Center, December 15, 2015 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Marguerite (nee Giroux). Dearly loved father of Michel (Hélène) of Corbeil, Diane Brady (Pat) of Dover, Delaware, Marie-Anne Rochefort (Jean- Marc) of Astorville, Claude (Michelle), Jocelyne Champagne (Norm), all of North Bay. Lovingly remembered by 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dear brother of, Anita Sullivan (Norm-deceased), Shirley Legros, Alice Dupuis (Eugene-deceased), Donald (Jackie), Rene (Linda), Pauline, Jeannine (Jim-deceased). Predeceased by his parents Henri and Marie (nee Chaput), and brothers Lucien and Rheal (Madeleine). Family will receive friends at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME (North Bay), Friday December 18 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Paroisse Sacré Coeur (Corbeil), Saturday December 19, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to Heart & Stroke, Knights of Columbus or Église Sacré Coeur Memorial Fund would be gratefully appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
