Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 27, 2024, at the age of 62. Jeff is survived by his devoted wife Jenny of 43 years, his loving children Megan (Toney) and Stryder. His father Richard(Louise) and brother James of Nova Scotia, brothers-in-law Tim (Claire) and Alan (Jocelyn). He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and his long time friend Paul. Predeceased by his mother Irene, brothers Wayne and Vic, good friend Mike Dugas. And his faithful dog Goldie Girl.

Jeff's passion for music, particularly rock, was evident to all who knew him—his tunes always cranked to the max. He found joy in the simple things, from his love for animals to the peaceful observation of his bird feeder. Jeff loved fishing, and he found solace by the water and around the campfire. He had a deep appreciation for cars and the thrill of watching thunderstorms.

A natural storyteller and an encyclopedia of knowledge, Jeff always had an answer for everything and was a constant source of wisdom and guidance. His willingness to lend a helping hand and his unwavering presence in the lives of his family and friends will never be forgotten.  He will be forever missed.

As per Jeff’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Jeff's Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope for Wildlife in Nova Scotia, at hopeforwildlife.net a cause close to Jeff's heart.
