CHADBOURN, Lorne Alvin

Born October 17, 1939. Passed away peacefully at home March 28, 2007. Beloved husband of Madeleine Chadbourn (nee Robitaille). Loving father of Denis Chadbourn (Leann), Lane Chadbourn (Melissa), Julie Pennell (John), Karen Ellis Rob), Brian Appleby (Tina), Shirley-Ann Appleby (Gary), Barb Larose (Hal), and Kim Hodgson (Bill). Lorne will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Kenny, Randa, Doug, Bobbie-Lyn, Mitchell, Juleann, Emily-Ann, Chelsea, Dylan, Logan, William, Carter, Justin, Kenny, and Brianna. Predeceased by his father Joseph Alvin Chadbourn, mother Norma Matilda
Chadbourn (nee Davey), his son Randy, sisters Shirley, Donna and Diane. Survived by his siblings Nola Green (Don), Sue Moreau (Ray), Bill (Dora), Jolene Erven (Al), Wendy Gilbert (Greg), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Lorne owned and operated Chad Welding & Supplies for 15 years, retiring in 1998. He was a renowned musician both locally and abroad. A member of the Bluegrass Band "Blackstrap" for many years and most recently the "CDenny Band". Lorne will also be sadly missed by his numerous friends, especially
Denver MacLeod, Billy & Lea Bale, and Roy & Judy Loach. Many thanks to staff at Para Med especially Ken Martin and Aunt Alice (our Angel without wings), for all of your help and kindness.

Also, thank you to all the family members for your love, support and assistance caring for Dad. A Family is a Circle of Love.

Friends may call at MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Omond Memorial United Church on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
