Cerisano, Leslie-Jean

It is with great sadness that the family of Leslie-Jean Cerisano announces her passing after a long battle with Cancer, on Monday, January 11, 2021 at the age of 67 years.

Over the years Leslie was a local business owner, entrepreneur, coach, mentor, volunteer, and endlessly devoted to giving back to her community. In September of 2020, Leslie was awarded the Rastall Hydraulic Volunteer of the Month award, presented to her by CTV, in recognition of her decades of service to her community.

As part of many organizations, Leslie was proud to work alongside so many friends and colleagues, she proudly served with The Davedi Club, North Bay Baseball Association, The North Bay Centennials Cabooster Club, The Capitol Centre, The Heritage Railway and Carousel, The Corbeil Four Seasons, and most recently the Rock Choir, for which she rediscovered her passion for singing and music.

Leslie was predeceased by her parents: Victor Issac Sleep and Eleanor Jean Sleep. Leslie will be lovingly remembered by her children: Blake Cerisano (Amber), Ashley Di Benedetto (Dave), and Lena McCormick (Todd), as well as her partner of 11 years: Vincent Beauvais. Leslie was a fiercely loving Nana and Grandma to her grandchildren: Caden Cerisano, Carter Cerisano, Chayse Cerisano, Jake McCormick, Eleanora Di Benedetto, and Baby Di Benedetto (August 2021).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in Leslie’s name, to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Capitol Centre for which she spent the better part of two decades serving as Volunteer Coordinator.

Arrangements entrusted to Martyn Funeral Home.
