Of Burk’s Falls
Our dad, William (Billy) Peter Hokstad left this world on November 12th, 2023 at the age of 65. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts for “love is all you need.” We will remember Billy through every Beatles melody, Uriah Heep classic riff and Black Sabbath power chord. His musical knowledge was unmatched and passed down to his family and those who had the pleasure of calling themselves his friend.
Have a safe trip to Valhalla Billy, we love you, … ya hoser.
He leaves behind his daughters Laura Hokstad (Jules) & Mary Hokstad, and their mother Robin Mathon; his mother Else Hokstad (Harvey); his brother Dan Hokstad (Julie), and his nieces & nephews Robert Norman, Mary-Jane Pouliot (Chris), Katrina Hokstad (Ben) & Hans Hokstad (Kris). His close friends Morris, Jim, Jeff & Jennifer. Predeceased by his father, William E. Hokstad. Billy also leaves behind a chorus of friends and loved ones too big to mention, who sang along with him to every note.
A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion BR#445 at 345 Lansdowne St. Callander, ON.
