Unexpectedly, at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family, on Monday, September 1, 2008, in her 80th year. Betty May Cayen (nee Brown) of Petawawa, beloved wife of the late Romeo Louis Cayen. Dearest mother of Colleen Cayen, Petawawa, Rick Cayen (Cheryl), Haileybury, Wendy Cayen (Kirsten), North Bay, Rhonda Ryan (Ray), Orillia, Mark Cayen (Megan), Burlington and Gayle Cayen, Pembroke. Loving grandmother to Jennifer and Leigh Cayen, Raymond and Duane Ryan, Sara, Emma and Hannah Cayen, great- grandchildren Jacob and Jayda McNair and Derek Ryan. A Funeral Mass in the presence of her ashes was celebrated on Friday, September 5th at St. Peter the Apostle Church, North Bay, ON. In memory of Betty, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
