It is with heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Victor Carriere on February 11, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 64 years. Devoted husband of Judy Carriere (nee Dufresne). Loving father of Kymberly Budge (Stew), Mattheau Carriere (Joy) and Andrew Carriere. Cherished grandpa of Kody Budge (Brittany), Tabby, Taylor-Anne, Angel Rose, Hayden, Connor and great grandpa of Kane Victor Budge. Beloved son of Yvonne Carriere (nee Guillemette). Dear brother of Sue Edstrom (Al), Vince Carriere (Giselle), Marc Carriere (Donna), Denis Carriere (Diane), Lilliane Cloutier (Guy), Viviane Fredericks and Paulette Simkins (Gary-deceased). Predeceased by his father; Rheal Carriere. Vic enjoyed the outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing or watching the sunset from his home on Lake Nipissing. He worked for Hamelin’s Turf Equipment as a clerk. His greatest passions in life was spending time with his family. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Homes Crematorium. Family will receive visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 12 pm till time of service at 2 pm. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the Care Partners, Dr. Buckley and Dr. Seguin for their care and compassion shown towards our family and Vic. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
