Passed away at Leisureworld Nursing Care Centre, Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at the age of 89. Edgar, loved son of the late Eléonore and Oscar Carrière, was born in Corbeil, ON, September 17, 1916. Predeceased by brothers - Arthur, Armand and Roland; sisters - Antoinette Deschene (Anatole), Bernadette Chatelain (Arthur) and Marie Gareau (Rosario). Survived by one brother, Lionel (Rosemary) of North Bay; three sisters - Aline Gravelle (Joseph- deceased) of North Bay, Germaine Clunas (Alex-deceased) of Sudbury, Blanche Preston (Norman) of Kitchener; and three sisters-in-law - Germaine of Cambridge, Bernadette of Toronto and Dianne of North Bay.
Family and friends may pay their respects at McGuinty Funeral Home, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Paroisse Sacré-Coeur, Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Corbeil Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Corbeil Sacred Heart Church Memorial Fund would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
