Carmichael, Blanche (Wardell)

Passed away peacefully January 11, 2008 at Cassellhome, North Bay in her 89thi year. Predeceased by husband Ross and children Gary, Elaine and Wayne, siblings Stanley, Cecil(Vivienne), Ron, Jean and dear friend Jim Irwin. Survived by her 7 grandchildren; Bob (Kathy), Tom (Therese), Carolyn (Robert), Ted (Nancy), Kathleen (Jay), Jason (Nicole) and Karen (Wynn) and 19 great-grandchildren. Blanche will also be missed by her brothers Jim (Marie), Edgar (Theresa), Ray (Agnus) sister Norma (Bruce deceased) and sister-in-law Judy and many nieces and nephews. At her home on Ski Club Road, Blanche operated “Blanches Beauty Salon” for 42 years with many satisfied customers. Blanche loved to work in her gardens and spend time at her cottage on Red Cedar Lake.



Visitation will be at the Martyn Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 15 from 12:30-2:00, with funeral service to follow at 2 pm. Interment at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to your charity of choice will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
