CARLSON, Ingrid

Passed away peacefully on Saturday June 17, 2006 to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her loving brothers, sisters and family members, in her 76th year.

Ingrid was born on March 29th, 1931 at Kipling Ontario. Ingrid has spent nearly all of her life dedicated to serving others in teaching as well as working in orphanages in Bowmanville in the late 50’s as well as over 13 years in Nigeria, West Africa from 1961 under the direction of Mrs. Bertha Whyte of the Whytehaven Mission. When she arrived back in Canada she was appalled and shocked at the abundance of food and luxury we have here in Canada, and it nearly tore her apart.

Ingrid has taught hundreds of kids in Sunday schools over her life and has been a tremendous impact on people’s lives.

Ingrid was predeceased by her Mom Elin (Elofson) and Dad Henry Carlson, Sister June and Brother Gerald. Sadly missed by Brother Lloyd (May), Allan (Joanne) of Thunder Bay, Greta (Bruce) of Golden Lake, Paul (Jean) of Kipling, David (Barb) of North Bay, and Esther (Zee) of Restoule, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.



Visitation at Calvary Pentecostal Temple at 271 Ski Club Rd. on Tuesday June 20 from 2 to 4, and 7 to 9 pm, and Service Wednesday June 21 at 11:00 A.M. Internment to follow at Kipling.
