Peacefully at Leisureworld Caregiving Centre, Friday, September 17, 2004 at the age of 97 years. He is survived by his daughter, Murielle O'Donnell (Ted), sons, Louis 'Clarence' (Jean), Paul, of North Bay and Pierre 'Pete' (Léonie) of Brampton; sister Gerda Kendall of Timmins; sisters-in-law, Bella Carbonneau of Ottawa, Gabrielle Savage of Timmins; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Clara and Omer Carbonneau; first wife Hermonne Rondeau (1945), second wife Sidonie Thanasse (1995); daughter Claudette Lavergne (1993); sister Blanche Fauvelle and brothers Clarence, Fred, Dan and Ovila (Nick). There will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St-Vincent-de-Paul, Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery to follow church reception.
